The <A+> Alliance for Inclusive Algorithms

The <A+> Alliance for Inclusive Algorithms is a global, multidisciplinary and feminist coalition of academics, activists and technologists prototyping the future of Artificial Intelligence & algorithmic decision-making. We work at the regional and multilateral level to transform norms and standards that guarantee a future of coded inclusion with gender and race equality at their center. We do this in order to achieve and strengthen robust, resilient 21st century democracies.

Our immediate focus is the debiasing of the dataset and therefore the algorithm.  Our goal is the active correction of bias by means of data, algorithm & model, one piece of which is the active collection of inclusive, local, and feminist data so that we all can thrive.
